the artist at castro theater

i had been wanting to see the acclaimed film “the artist” for ages. when i noticed it was playing at the fabulous castro theater, i couldn’t stop myself from setting up a friend date with kelsey, even though i was scheduled to leave the country 36 hours after showtime and completely unprepared for my trip. it was so worth the drive to the city to watch a movie about classic old theaters in a classic old theater. i loved the film – it was oh so heartwarming – and also the sweet guy playing the organ, the luscious details inside the theater, and the bacon cinnamon roll and perfect popcorn kelsey brought me.

yes, we are wearing the exact same glasses.

sometimes cramming my schedule too full is just worth it.
