luckily, hair grows

photo (36)

i was itching for change. so i got bangs.

i pretty much hate them…sigh…

luckily, hair grows. i’m sure there’s some lessons to be learned here about impulsion, evolution, patience and contentment.

even bad haircuts make me glad to be human and alive.

I think you look adorable in bangs. The bangs accentuate your features in a really great way. Your
photo (the combo of bangs, makeup and color of your †op) remind me of the young, hip, and beautiful models of the late 1960s, early 70s. You look, pretty, feminine, and very hip, in a slightly "retro" way.
Enjoy your new do....it's really awesome!!!!

I actually love the bangs! And I don't say that too often ;) I've tried bangs myself and found them never quite right for my face, but you wear them beautifully - truly!

I do the same thing every year and it is ALWAYS a mistake (for me, that is). Live and learn gorgeous. If they really start to bug you bobby pins are a blessed thing.

You look great either way Charity! Didn't you cut bangs at the JC as well? Maybe it was someone else. Hope life is good!

I think they look really great on you! In fact, you are making me want to recommit to my bangs!

I like the bangs!

But I know the feeling. I did the same thing last year. Blegh. It's so disappointing that you're dying for some change, go to the hairdresser very expectantly and get something you don't like at all. Even if it's not realy bad. It's not the feeling you hoped for :-)

I think you look stunning. I agree that it is a drastic change, though, and it might get some time getting used to.

I know what you mean. I concur with everybody else that you look fabulous. But really... when do you not? However, I do this to myself on a regular basis. I have finally taken an oath to myself to not cut my bangs for 5 years. That is a LONG time. But also relatively short. I always love the idea and then I don't love the result.

But don't worry. You're hot and can rock it out!

Charity - so happy to see you with "the boy". You deserve a sweet boyfriend. But please - I've followed your blog for a while- so please take this in a good way - dont settle. Just because your parents have umpteen kids - Shawni has 5 - " 5 kids in 5 years - I get it. You have nothing to prove. Take your time. You do not have to be a baby making machine to be a good person. Do your thing in your own time frame. Break tradition - have ONE kid when YOU are ready. Mumsie and Dadsie will still love you. Really.

Never commented before -- found your blog through 71toes -- but love your bangs! You look like Zoey Deschanel -- quirky cute in colorful vintage dresses.
