also in amsterdam
^^ melinda & i shared the most gorgeous meal at rijks, the restaurant at the rijksmuseum. can you believe how pretty these plates of uniquely combined culinary delights are?! melinda is among my most preferred people to share a meal with because she appreciates so well and is such a delight to talk with. ^^
^^ the narrowest canal house in all of amsterdam! and melinda caught a snap of me snapping away - amsterdam is really, really picturesque! ^^
^^ i sent this photo to the boy - i was snuggling i for ian! love the other tourists in this photo. ^^
^^ on our last morning together in amsterdam, we had the most amazing breakfast at a little cafe near dam square. everything was delicious, but the scones were to. die. for. because they were so perfectly fluffy and because we slathered them in cream and divine spreads (lemon curd, pineapple basil jelly and fresh strawberry jam!). the perfect ending to our weekend! ^^
^^ i want them all! cutest magnets ever. ^^
^^ pretty classic amsterdam: a darling bike, plants sold on the street, and a warning against buying fake dope! ^^
^^ as i arrived at central station to catch the train to the airport to fly home, i had to quickly photograph this fantastic facade as a last capture from beautiful amsterdam! ^^
thanks for charming me thoroughly, amsterdam! until next time...
It looks like you guys had such a lovely weekend. I'm so sad I missed this!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that we got to see these beautiful spots in a great place on earth, especially since we went through the Amsterdam airport on Friday and didn't get passed the airport doors! Beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe flower photos can go on forever, in my opinion!! Just beautiful. What are the two plates from rijks? They look so tasty!
ReplyDeleteNext time you go, would be great to try to cut off part of the 'M' so you get "I an", haha!
