dripping with passion

    i love these little boy so. crazy. much. i honestly feel like i am going to burst sometimes with how richly i adore them and how deeply i care for them. i feel enormously blessed to be moses and gabriel's mom. both of the wright brothers are growing up and changing every day. here's a snapshot of them each, at 2.6 years and 9.6 months old, so i can remember as time flies past. (the pictures at the beginning and end of this post, of the boys together, are from just after christmas, in their semi-matching christmas jumpers. the pictures of them on their own are from our trip to the canary islands - we just got back a few days ago!) - m o s e s -    he's really a remarkably good, clear communicator and it's so fun to have conversations with him. some of the things he says really often right now are, "not right now, in a little minute," "ready, steady, go," "i love  it!" and "mommy, can i please have..." he is cons...

a few things i want to remember about our boys at six months and two and a quarter years old: moses: loves to watch our wedding video (he asks for it every few days by saying "watch mama and daddy in the red car" referring to the very end when we leave our reception in a red car :) ). adores his brother and gives him the biggest, longest hugs while saying "awwwwww." says "one minute" pretty much 100% of the time he is asked to do something ... always looking for one more minute to play!  is obsessed with a story book his grandma gave him for christmas last year, and references the stories in it multiple times a day. loves animals more than anything. his favourite animals are elephants and giraffes and he will often randomly say, "i  love  elephants" or "i  love  giraffes." if he sees a picture of an animal when we are out and about he hollers "annnnnimal!!!" with so much glee. he spends hours every day playing with ...

  our little boys are growing up fast. over the past couple of months, it seems like both moses and gabriel have changed soooo much! i really think they are both  impossibly  cute and i have just been bowled over lately by how much i adore them. here's a little update on the wright brothers! these photos were at bear lake and here in our london home about three weeks ago ... and both boys have grown since then! i guess another update with newer pictures will have to come soon :) moses... ...has experienced an explosion of language since hanging out with a bunch of older cousins in the usa. he can now hold a pretty good little (albeit disjoined) conversation! it's pretty fun to chat with him, and he surprises me with words he knows every single day. ...has become a little singer! he perfected the abc song  thanks to his cousin-teachers zara and mila at bear lake. for the first couple of weeks after we got home from the states, anytime  moses saw ...

we commemorated moses’s second birthday in two parts: first in utah valley with some family members from the wright side the day before his birthday, and then at bear lake with a bunch of eyre family members on his very birthday!   our beloved little boy was heartily celebrated! gosh, we adore this kid. i can’t believe how much joy he has brought to this world in just two years!   ^^ opening presents from grandma and grandpa wright! ^^   ^^ meanwhile, gabriel was getting acquainted with uncle taylor :) ^^ ^^ grandma wright made this  awesome birthday cake for moses. clearly he couldn’t take his eyes off it when he first saw it!! ^^ (grandma wright made little mo’s first birthday cake last year, too - you can see it here )       ^^ on his actual birthday, moses got in a great nap during our drive to bear lake. when we arrived, he was  thrilled to play with cousins and dogs! i don’t think i’ve ever seen him giggle so hard as he was while playin...
